Roadside
A passing glance at the landscape around I-88 in Central Illinois and I-80 in Eastern Iowa, made me want to capture the feeling of sideways motion, of our perception of the world’s little places that we don’t take time to explore in a rush to cover great distances. By doing so, I discovered an odd photographic beauty that, to me, represents both the joy of travel and the sadness of a universe too large to ever know all of it.
